Well here we go. One more time round in Westeros. I’m surprised that this trailer wasn’t cut to Let the Bodies Hit the Floor. Because we know that that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
Unless they really want to mess with their audience and no one dies in season eight. Imagine!
But yes, season eight, the final season. I can’t believe that I’ve been watching this show for eight years. That’s longer than my longest relationship. When Game of Thrones launched it was in a world where the idea that fantasy televison, especially high budget fantasy televison was a trap. For all of it’s flaws GOT was a game changer. I look around now and see adaptation of fantasy properties that I never thought would get a small screen release (let alone a big screen one) being worked on. What a time to be alive.
So here we go. One let time. Bring it on. I’m ready. #teamwhitewalkers
