Are you excited? I’m excited! I don’t think excitement is the word to describe how ready I am for this movie!
This is the first official trailer for the film set to come out in November. After he unexpected rescue from the Hunger Games, Katniss finds herself in District 13, which was thought to be non existent. It is up to Katniss to overcome all of her pain and trauma from the last two books/films and become the Mockingjay, the face of the rebellion. And, will Katniss be able to save Peeta… who was left behind in the arena?
The trailer shows Julianne Moore in her role as President Coin and Natalie Dormer (who completely stole my heart as Margaery Tyrell in Game of Thrones) as Cressida.
I’ve been looking forward to the marking campaign for this movie almost as much as the movie itself. In Mockingjay there is a lot of focus on propaganda. Both sides use it. So far, we’ve seen a lot of videos and images coming out of the Capitol. I’m hoping as we get closer to November that we will begin to see more content from the rebellion.
