WHAT IS AIR! WHAT IS HAPPENING!
Two big trailer reveals in one day, I can barely keep myself from hyperventilating.
We’re headed back into Middle Earth December 17th, and I don’t know what to do with myself. After the mess that was Desolation of Smaug (check out Chelsey and my vlogs here and here) I don’t want to let myself get excited for this. But I can’t help it.
PIPPIN’S SONG! That came out of left field, and kind of brought everything full circle to the trailer for the first Hobbit film. Which was well done.
I’m hoping that Peter Jackson will deliver on all of his promises with this film and make up for the faults in the previous one…

Well this doesn’t look good…. But the cinematography is gorgeous:
Legolas and Tauriel look on at the carnage of Lake Town. This shot almost looks like it’s a painting. I’m starting to get dangerously hopeful.
Thorin’s got the shifty eyes going. I don’t know if we can trust him anymore….
Don’t try and pull this on us movie. We know that Gandalf can’t die. He’s in The Lord of the Rings!
I still feel like they’re trying to make Bard look like Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean…
Lee Pace…. Just give me more Lee Pace as Thranduil and I will be happy. That man was GLORIOUS

So consider me hopefully optimistic… But I’ve had my heart before. I feel like that adult who wants to eat all the candy they used to when they were a child even though they know it’ll rot their teeth.Well we can only go up from here… Right? Right?
