Spirit Bound

Summary
Spirit Bound breaks the plot mould of the rest of the series. Rose and Lissa are getting close to the end of their adventure, but sometimes it seemed to drag. There are twists and turns, some of them are good, some of them are predictable. And once again, Rose and Lissa never seem to talk to each other, even though they are supposedly best friends. Spirit Bound wasn't our favourite book in the series, but there are some good moments, and it sets up for the end.
Good
  • Tries some new things with the plot
  • Good set up for last book
Bad
  • Felt like it dragged
  • Not enough Rose / Lissa
  • Predictable
  • Silly romance

I graduated with a BA in English and minors in Film, Women Studies, and Religion and Culture. I adore fantasy and sci-fi, especially when it comes to the YA section, but that doesn't mean I don't read anything else. When I'm not reading, I'm writing, biking, taking my dog for long walks or watching anime.
