Nothing could be more 90’s that Dracula 2000. Nothing. This movie was dated before it even made it to theatres. But guess, what? It gives no fucks.
With a cast of actors who have gone on to work on much, much better projects (Gerard Butler, Christopher Plummer, Jonny Lee Miller, Omar Epps, and Nathan Fillion), this film is a time capsule of beautiful awfulness. I am talking sex on the ceiling, product placement so blatant it’s a stroke of genius, and zany one-liners.
While Dracula 2000 isn’t a good film by any means there is a stellar Dracula origin story buried deep in this movie. It’s worth the watch just for the laughs, it’s a 90’s movie with enough cheese that you won’t need any on your popcorn.
