Fevre Dream Review

Summary
Though not a perfect novel, Fevre Dream was an interesting read. You can't help but fall for the practical, loyal steamboat Captain Abner and his strange poem loving vampire friend Joshua York. If you're a fan of the vampire genre or just looking to explore Martin's non Westeros works then we suggest you pick this one up.
Good
  • Abner
  • Steamboats
  • Sour Billy is a villain you love to hate
  • The Vampire society/social hierarchy
Bad
  • Novel can drag at times
  • Vampire metaphor sometimes falls flat

Chelsey and Alexandra have been posting book reviews by text or video for over 5 years now. When they're not reading and writing reviews they usually have a fantasy project in queue that they're working on. You can also catch them around town at cons and expos once or twice a year.
