Pet Semetary

Summary
Pet Semetary was nothing like we expected it to be. Instead of watching a creepy child wander around with a knife what we found was a slow meditation on the fear of death and the power of grief.
Good
  • The setting is a character on it's own
  • Amazing atmosphere
  • Examination of grief, loss and the fear of death
Bad
  • The ending didn't really mesh with the rest of the novel

Alexandra is always looking for the next book she can devour. She has a love hate relationship with teen fiction specifically when it comes to fantasy, post apocalyptic and failed shakespeare adaptations.
