Yesterday we saw the release of the newest trailer for A Monster Calls. As beautiful as this film looks, I don’t know if I will be seeing it. The book made me cry my eyes out and I don’t think I’m ready to go through that again.
Yet, I am tempted. The act of casting Liam Neeson as the monster was a stroke of genius. His booming voice works well given the size of the monster. Also hearing him say “woah indeed” kind of cracked me up a bit.
