Gideon the Ninth Review
Lesbian necromancers in space
Summary
Gideon the Ninth was everything we wanted it to be and more. Gideon grabs you from page one and combines a whole bunch of genres that should not work together as well as they do. It's impossible not to fall for Gideon and Harrowhark and their weird dark necromantic world. It'll have you laughing, crying, and absolutely dying for more. Good
- Gideon is a marshmallow and we love her
- Harrowhark is amazing
- The setting and atmosphere
- All of the different types of necromancy
- The plot
- The sense of humour
Bad
- Easy to get characters mixed up at the very beginning
